Team X - Kicking a** and taking names!

Slade was walking casually through town, there was nothing happening, today was quiet, peaceful, calm, no action. However, Slade did not mind today, because it beat doing some lame mission that did not even deserve to be called a mission.

"Missions...Should be called chores instead. They got us doing stupid, D-rank missions, things kids do, things workers do. Tch. Annoying." Slade mumbled to himself, looking up into the clear blue sky, wondering when he would be able to do some real missions.

Walking through sheets of what looked like paper, Slade stepped into the small ramen stand, sitting down, the cook turning around with a jolly face. Very jolly. The kind of jolly that wanted to make you buy something, the kind that was selling something. That kind.

"What will it be son? We have pork ramen, chick--" The man began to state with a smile, before rudely being interrupted by Slade. "Just get me a glass of water." Slade ordered, sitting there. Bored. Taking the glass of water and having over some coins, Slade looked down onto the counter, taking small sips of his drink, before finishing it.

Stepping out of the small stand, he saw several dark figures jumping from building to building in the distance, all looking like shinobi, but he did not know what was happening. Taking a closer look, trying to focus in, he suddenly heard a grunt and quick movement to the side of him. Looking to the left, he saw a fist rushing at him quickly. Being able to react, he ducked then launched his fist up into the attacker's stomach, winding him and sending him hurling back hard onto the sand-like floor. Smirking, Slade realized this ninja-looking fellow had not been a ninja for long, he was too weak. Grabbing the ninja by the collar and lifting him up, staring him in the eye as a toothy grin was stuck on his pale face, Slade grunted in amusement as he saw the headband of the ninja. He was from the village....of sound. The leaf villages enemy. Big enemy.

"What are you fools doing here, huh?" Slade spat, gazing at the guy his age who he held. The kid didn't say anything, so Slade threw him onto the floor, then booted him violently in the gut. "Talk, now, otherwise I may find myself scraping your blood of my boot." The guy's eyes suddenly widened, noticing that the expression on Slade's face showed he was sadistically serious about what he was saying. "O-okay, the sound village is planning to attack your village, in fact, it-it-it is being attacked as we speak!" The ninja stated quickly, in fear of his life. Slade cocked his head, showing interest in what was just said. Great interest. "Heh. This will be fun." Slade muttered, letting go of the ninja, making him fall on the floor.

Looking at the shinobi on the floor, Slade kneeled down and put his face close to the new ninja, "Do you want to live?" Slade asked quietly, knowing no one was around. "Y-yes." The sound ninja replied. Slade grabbed his head and slammed it into the ground, before lifting his fist up and beginning to pound his face in. "Then lay here and take it, dirty sound ninja." Slade spat, a smile on his face as his fist connected with the ninja's face multiple times. After a minute, Slade got up, looking down at the knocked out ninja, "There...you are alive. Although, you might want to do something about that face..." Slade laughed, walking away, heading out to find Haruko and Keiro, seeing in the distance that the sound ninja had already begun their attack.

Jumping from building to building, looking all around the place, specifically searching for Haruko and Keiro, Slade ignored all the fighting between the ninja he went by, feeling tempted to join in on the fun, but stopping himself and focusing on finding his team members, he knew that if he wanted to go further with his ninja skills, he would have to find those two.

Getting close to the park area, Slade could see Keiro in the distance having trouble with what looked like an experienced sound ninja, he would have to be to take on Keiro like that, and Slade knew how talented Keiro was. Closer and closer. Not far. There.

Slade appeared as he made it, before the sound ninja could do anything, he had already jumped behind the sound shinobi, and reacted by cutting the back of his neck open with his sharp, black and now bloody kunai, blood violently splurting out of the back of his neck.

Looking down at the body that had attacked his friend, Slade grunted arrogantly, before smirking at Keiro. "I thought I told you to not make me save you again." Slade muttered with a grin, before offering his hand out to Keiro, waiting for Keiro to take the hand to help him out.

Slade grunted as Keiro picked himself up, he knew that Keiro and Haruko did not think too highly of him, but he could care less about them.

Turning to see Haruko fighting a jonin, and not doing too well either, he watched as Keiro joined in, and knew that in order to take down this tough guy, he would need to get involved too.

Jumping over to the jonin from behind as Keiro and Haruko distracted him with their attacks, Slade leg sweeped him from the back, however the jonin somehow knew it was coming and jumped in the air, making the leg sweep miss, which Slade reacted to by instantly rolling back to avoid any counter.

Taking out his kunai after the roll, he lunged at the jonin's back, tackling him to the ground, beginning to stab him with the kunai. All of a sudden, the jonin turned into a log. Substitution jutsu! Slade jumped up, the jonin being no where to be seen.

He could attack at any moment.

Finding his sensei, Akka at the same time as Haruko did, Slade was not surprised to see him fighting, after all most of the here were busy trying to take out the sound ninjas. They needed to be taken out. That was certain.

Akka skilfully finished off the ninjas he was facing before any of his, smacking one directly in the face with his fist before spinning and pounding one right in the mid-section, winding him and making him fly back through the air. Stunned. Slade realized how good Akka was, and that in order to reach his level, he would have to train a lot.

All of a sudden, another group surrounded the four before they could speak, all genin level, although there was a jonin leading them.
